Try to follow these nutritional rules daily:
- 3-5 servings of vegetables.
- 2-4 servings of fruit.
- 6-11 servings of bread, cereal, rice and pasta.
- 2-3 servings of low-fat milk and milk products.
- 2-3 serving of lean meat, poultry, fish, dried beans, eggs and nuts.
- Prepare meals with little or no added fat (try to avoid saturated fat), salt and sugar.
- Drink plenty of liquids each day.
- Look at your portions.
- Cut the fat* Watch the calories.
- Making healthy choices when eating out.
